To Artists

...for the BIG AUGUST LAF24

Art on the Green *Open* Art Exhibition

 

> Who?

YOU! All media will be considered including drawing, painting, sculpture, photographs, mixed media, digital artworks ( we will have a small tv available for showing the works). 

 

> When?

02nd August 1800 to 2000hrs 

03rd August  1000 to 1700hrs 

04th August   1000 to 1700hrs

 

> Where?

Dunn village hall, Rushlake Green. 

 

> Why?

As part of the Little Arts Festival ln August 2024 we holding an open art exhibition celebrating the Past , present and Future of Art and the Green. This is an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase up to 2 pieces of original artwork in any media in 2D and 3D

Past - celebrating the rich history of art in the village. 

​

Present - supporting artists who currently practice in Rushlake Green & surrounding villages

 

Future - what will the future of art in Rushlake Green & beyond look like?

Submissions for 2 pieces of artwork through the website or email to:

with the following details 

Artists name and contact details 

Title of the work

Size of the work (framed or unframed) 

Price of the work

> What is the fee?

Past - £1 per artwork  contribution to the LAF24 funds 

Present and Future - Participation is £5 per artwork        (where for sale) £1 each for U16’s

No commission payable although donations of 5% of sales would be welcome to support the festival funds. Fees can be paid online by adding one of the 'arrows' below. Please add your name into the box labelled 'Add a note' on checkout.

 

> When do I deliver and collect the artwork ? 

All artwork must be delivered to the Dunn Village Hall by 1200hrs on the 02nd August 2024 for curation by the LAF24 visual arts team. All work must be collected between 1700 and 1900hrs on the 04th August 2024.

 

> Are  there any restrictions on the type of artwork that will be considered ? 

All 2D artwork shall be delivered professionally framed with strings or art fixings in place or as canvass with the artists name on the back, complete with Title and price. Clip frames will not be accepted 

The maximum size of any artwork shall be 100cm x 100cm 

All 3D artwork must be stable and free standing works will be displayed on tables and or on the stage.

It is the discretion of the visual arts team as to whether the artwork will be hung.
