About the event

Do you have a favourite reading that you would like to share informally with others, or have read by one of The Village Players’ acting team? It could be a poem, an extract of prose, a speech from a play, or even the words of a song. Or would you like to share or perform some of your own writing?
The Village Players have put together and performed a great variety of poems and readings over the years and our audiences have enjoyed hearing both traditional and modern works, some themed, some serious and others humorous.
This workshop will be for those who want to perform and for those who just choose to listen to the much loved words of others, in an informal setting.
Please email all requests to pam.edmonds@btopenworld.com by August 9th stating the Reading and including, if possible, the Author and whether you wish to read it yourself or have it read by one of the Village Players
